1. General information
The general objective of the subject is for students to become familiar with the main strategies and skills of management and leadership in tourism organizations today. It includes, among other aspects, the importance of personal development in order to be a good leader and achieve personal, group and organizational goals.
2. Learning results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results associated with the ODS:

5. Assessment system
CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT
Two phases:
A) Theoretical exam.
B) Completion of activities and their assessment:
25% Class attendance
30% Reading and review of an article
30% Study of two cases. This will be done outside the classroom and presented in class
15% Reading an article and presenting a poster.
For those who cannot attend class, 25% of the class attendance and 15% of the presentation can be replaced by the writing of an essay. Likewise, the public presentation of the two case studies solved will be carried out on-line and, if necessary, the faculty will hold a personal interview with each of the students.
SIMPLE SYSTEM
Final global test, which consists of a theoretical exam and a practical exercise.
Each of the two parts that compose this assessment system will be graded from 1 to 10. The final grade of the global test will be the weighted average of the grades of the theoretical test, 70%, and of the mentioned exercise, 30%, although in order to pass the subject it is necessary to achieve at least a 5 out of 10 points in each of the parts.
